Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is “the right guy” to turn things around, he said, despite his recent struggles.
Fitzpatrick threw three more interceptions Sunday in a 27-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, giving him nine in his past two games.
The Jets are 1-3 and are facing tough road games against Pittsburgh and Arizona during the next two weeks.
While some fans and media speculated about Fitzpatrick’s job security, Coach Todd Bowles said Monday that he was not considering a quarterback change right now.
Fitzpatrick has thrown 10 interceptions for the season, but Bowles said Fitzpatrick still gave the Jets the best chance to win.
