Come April, Mike Maccagnan will conduct his fourth draft as the Jets' general manager. The selection process is his speciality. After all, Maccagnan spent virtually his entire career in scouting departments before joining the Jets.
It's virtually the opposite of the man he replaced: John Idzik. In fact, Idzik struggled so much finding quality players in his two drafts, fans took out billboards calling for his firing. Eventually, they got what they wanted ... which is how Maccagnan made his way to New York.
