It might not be what you want people to be focusing on (then again it might be), but all eyes were on Chris Ivory’s groin this week.
Early reports did not look good for Ivory, the focal point of the Jet’s offense. As of Saturday’s practice report from the Jets, Ivory had limited participation in practice this week. The Jets still had him listed as “Questionable (groin)” on the team’s injury report as of Saturday against the Indianapolis Colts.
Just as Jets fans started to get a whiff of Ivory’s groin status, and dread was starting to seep into the hearts and souls of fans everywhere, the air started to clear in the Jet’s locker room.
