On Thursday, Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones had some flattering things to say about the 0-7 New York Jets. So flattering, in fact, that Twitter is up in arms about the exact verbiage used.
“You can’t take these games for granted,” Jones told reporters Thursday. “That’s a very good football team. Sam Darnold doesn’t get the credit, but he’s a very, very good quarterback. I think people tend to forget that because of their record.”
