I’m not sure re-signing Braxton Berrios should be one of them.
Sure, every player has his price and we’ve seen countless times that if Joe Douglas doesn’t think your performance warrants your price tag, he’s ready to walk away from the negotiating table. But the Jets may not be able to afford to let Berrios walk.
The 2021 season was quite the contract year for Braxton, who earned an All-Pro selection to go with that Super Bowl ring he won while a member of the Patriots in Super Bowl LIII.
