Brandon Marshall says it's 'unfair' to think Bryce Petty can win Jets' QB job in 4 games

FLORHAM PARK -- Bryce Petty, the Jets' second-year quarterback, has an audition for the final four games of this awful 3-9 season, starting with Sunday's trip to San Francisco.

But it's unreasonable and "unfair" to think Petty can prove himself worthy of being the Jets' 2017 starter in four weeks, said wide receiver Brandon Marshall.

Does Marshall think Petty has what it takes to eventually be an NFL starer?

"Time will tell," Marshall told NJ Advance Media on Friday. "That's the hardest position.
