On Wednesday, it was reported by the New York Daily News that Jets head coach Adam Gase is a “major factor” behind Jamal Adams‘ lack of trust in the organization’s future, and thus, his trade request. The report added, “[p]layers don’t respect Gase, who has rubbed them the wrong way with his inability to lead and lack of support.”
Less than 24 hours following that initial report, newly re-signed guard Alex Lewis released this statement to The Athletic, via Connor Hughes:
Throughout his statement, Lewis had some extremely passionate words regarding his support for Gase and the entire organizational structure in place at Florham Park.
