  • Marcus Gilchrist ranked 53rd among 90 qualified safeties last season with an overall grade of 77.1. Gilchrist has been fairly consistent over the past four years, earning overall grades in the 70’s each season, with a career high 79.1 overall grade in 2015.
  • Gilchrist wasn’t a liability in run defense in 2016, but he wasn’t much of a playmaker either as he recorded three stops in run defense but he also missed three tackles and his 2.3 run stop percentage ranked 75th out of 87 qualified safeties.
