After Kacy Rodgers boosts Jets' win over Colts, could he return vs. Vikings? Todd Bowles says ...

The Jets' players got a thrilling surprise Sunday in the locker room, as they prepared to play the Colts: Defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers, who is dealing with a serious undisclosed illness, showed up at MetLife Stadium to greet the team and watch the game.

Rodgers' players said his unexpected presence provided an emotional boost as the Jets defeated the Colts, 42-34, thanks largely to four takeaways (three interceptions and one fumble), which led to 20 points. The Jets scored off all four takeaways, including cornerback Morris Claiborne's pick-six.

As usual, Rodgers was perched in a booth above the field as he watched the game.
