Adam Gase admitted he did not manage the clock well at the end of Sunday’s 26-18 loss to the Dolphins.
The Jets did not take a timeout during the Dolphins’ drive that began with 6:23 remaining in the game and ended with 2:50 left. They also did not use one during a 14-play drive that resulted in a field goal on their last possession.
“Looking back at that, there are multiple things I wish I would’ve done different on that drive,” Gase said. “We were trying to keep as many timeouts as we could. I wish I would’ve kicked a field goal earlier.
