Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets have been linked since the start of the offseason. But that relationship could become more complicated now that Derek Carr is officially a free agent.
One of Rodgers’ former teammates pinpointed Carr, not Rodgers, as the quarterback New York should target.
Former Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings believes that out of all the potential suitors Derek Carr will have, the Jets are the best fit.
“I think the New York Jets is a perfect spot,” said Jennings, per The 33rd Team. “When you think about what they have already on their roster, it’s ready-made with the insertion of a [quality] quarterback.
