The franchise tag window is now closed, which means attention turns to the legal negotiation window that opens on Monday, March 11, at noon ET. Teams can talk to free agents at that point and agree to terms on new deals. Two days later, free agency will officially open on Wednesday, March 13, at 4 p.m. ET, allowing those contracts to be finalized.
