New York Jets Rumors: Is Cam Cameron the New Offensive Coordinator?

Update 1/18/2013 6:15pm ET

Rumors continue to emerge regarding who is going to be the newest offensive coordinator for the Jets.

The Jets offense was just atrocious last season, it felt like every time the offense would take one step forward they would take fifteen steps back.

That being said, the Jets need an offensive shakeup badly. So whomever the Jets hire this offseason has got to be someone who is an offensive wizard.

Well if you were hoping that Cam Cameron, the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens, was a great option, then you are going to be horribly upset by this news.

Chat Sports has all of the latest New York Jets news and rumors!

Cam Cameron will NOT be the next offensive coordinator of the New York Jets, according to ESPN.com's insider Tim Kavanagh.

But fortunately for the Jets, Bengals assistant Hue Jackson, former Browns HC Pat Shurmur, former Eagles OC Marty Mornhinweg and Stanford OC Pep Hamilton all are still in play.

While the Cameron news might be a bit disheartening, there are still plenty of potential good candidates out there who might be a fit.
