With the 20th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the New York Jets have selected LB Darron Lee out of Ohio State.
Position: Linebacker
Measurables: 6’1’’, 232 pounds, 4.47 40-yard dash, 17 bench press reps
Analysis:
Lee doesn’t have great size, but he has speed to spare. A great athlete, Lee has drawn comparisons to Ryan Shazier for a reason. He can be a 3-4 ILB or a 4-3 OLB and should be strong in coverage and running sideline-to-sideline. He’ll need to add some weight, but Lee has playmaking ability at LB.
