A New Jersey man is hawking a milestone puck that legendary Islanders forward Mike Bossy used to score his famous 50-in-50 goal in 1981.
But apparently, Bossy wants his valuable hunk of rubber back.
The puck in question is now on eBay auction, with a minimum bid of $4,500, in a sale that’ll last until next Sunday.
Jake Jacobson said he’s had the puck since the summer of 1988 and only recently has Bossy, through intermediaries at the Hockey Hall of Fame, asked for it back.
