Speaking with RG Media, Sorokin shot down trade speculation, emphasized his loyalty to the Islanders, and reflected on a busy summer for the franchise.
“I wasn’t surprised by the rumors. It’s part of the business,” he said. “What did surprise me was how seriously people took them.” With a no-movement clause firmly in place, the idea of Sorokin being dealt anytime soon was always far-fetched.
