On Sept. 5, the Matt Martin Foundation hosted its fifth annual charity poker night to benefit the NYPD Widows & Orphans Fund, the Boomer Esiason Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis Research, the Islanders Children’s Foundation, ACDS School for Children with Autism and Downe Syndrome and Defending The Blue Line.
Many of Martin’s teammates sat down to play in the massive poker tournament that saw early exits from winger Ross Johnston and some epic bad beats.
