New York Islanders: Samuel Bolduc Sent Back To Juniors

It’s that time of year, after spending time with the big club guys who aren’t going to make the roster start getting sent back. That’s what happened to the New York Islanders 2019 second-rounder Samuel Bolduc.

Last year, Bolduc was rather solid in the QMJHL. He had 37 points in 65 games with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. It was a significant jump forward in his development as a prospect so the Isles decided to land him in the second round.

Bolduc’s a big body d-man, he’s six-foot-four and 212 pounds. At 18 years old, still growing into his body, that’s impressive, to say the least.
