New York Islanders Prospect Arnaud Durandeau Continues Big 2018-2019 Season

Usually, sixth-round picks are a major dart throw in the NHL Draft. Although it seems like the New York Islanders may have a potential gem in Arnaud Durandeau who is currently playing in the QMJHL for the Halifax Mooseheads.

He was drafted 165th overall after a 41 point campaign in 2016-2017. He was able to improve to a 53 point (20 goals, 53 assists) season in 2017-2018, making a blip on the radar in terms of the prospect pool.

He blew that season out of the water this year, improving by 20 points.
