New York Islanders: Kieffer Bellows Scores His First Pro Goal

In 2016, the New York Islanders found a gem of a prospect with the 19th overall pick. Kieffer Bellows, who played his hockey in the USHL, fell in the Islanders lap and they correctly pounced on him.

As a prospect, Bellows made a name for himself by scoring on big stages. In his first ever World Juniors tournament, Bellows put up five goals in seven games. He was only just getting started. Last year playing U20, he had 9 goals in seven games.

The scoring didn’t stop there for Bellows. After one year at Boston University, Bellows left for the WHL.
