Travis Hamonic had a poor year for the New York Islanders. It was especially tough due to the fact that so many fans wanted him out of town in a trade. But, Hamonic continues to prove why he is easily the most likable Islander.
He’s a nominee for the NHL Foundation Player Award for his charity work and he absolutely deserves this honor. If you are unaware Travis Hamonic lost his father at a very young age.
