The New York Islanders five-game win streak came to an end last night in Chicago. They were able to pick up a point, as it would finish in a 3-2 shootout loss, but even in a losing effort Robin Lehner was spectacular.
Lehner was recently named the number one star of the week, and boy was it deserved. Heading into last night, he allowed just two goals in his last three starts, winning all three decisions.
Unfortunately for Lehner and the Islanders, the Blackhawks power play came into last night on fire and they continued that hot streak.
