New York Islanders: Anthony Beauvillier Doesn’t Practice Before Game 2

The New York Islanders had a few guys making their NHL playoff debut on Wednesday. One of those guys was forward Anthony Beauvillier. Beau had the least amount of ice time with 11:01 in Game 1.

On the Nick Leddy goal, he provided a screen but other than that he was fairly quiet in the series opener. Beau was not on the ice at practice yesterday, leading to some assumptions.

Barry Trotz called it a “maintenance day” for Anthony Beauvillier, not giving much insight to if he would be good to go tonight.
