In 2016-17 Anders Lee established himself as a premier goal scorer for the New York Islanders. He eclipsed the 30 goal mark for the first time in his career. The big thing for him was if he’d be able to repeat his career year.
He didn’t do that. He eclipsed any and all expectations in 2017-2018 with the Islanders this year.
He was a part of the impressive Lee – Tavares – Bailey line. For the second year in a row that line was one of the more productive top lines in the league.
This past year Lee got off to a hot start and he didn’t slow down.
