The New York Islanders fell to the Rangers 3-2 in OT on Monday night. The Islanders roster contained majority of the opening night lineup while the Rangers certainly left some star power at home except for Igor Shesterkin. Despite the loss, the Islanders did some things well. According to Dobbers Frozen Tools, the Islanders 4 forward lines and 3 defensive pairs all outshot and out-attempted the Rangers lines.
