Some will recall Dan Marshall who used to run Iceworks, was promoted to Sound Tigers head coach for one season has been an associate coach at this level. He was fired after his season in Bridgeport.
Interesting to see if this changes Doug Weight's status as assistant general manager of an NHL team/assistant coach.
Also I guess it seems Radek Martinek will be an assistant coach of kids under 14 with Weight.
I have no knowledge or much interest in kids programs out of Iceworks, just to see the assistant gm part of this with Radek Martinek is somewhat noteworthy if Weight is remaining in a new role?
