The Oshawa Generals, featuring Islanders forward prospect Michael Dal Colle, beat the Kelowna Rockets 2-1 in overtime on Sunday to win the 2015 Mastercard Memorial Cup.
Dal Colle didn't figure into the scoring in the final, but he finished the tournament with five points (2g, 3a) in four games. He had a team-leading 42 goals and 53 assists in the regular season before adding eight goals and 23 assists in the playoffs as Oshawa won the OHL title over Connor McDavid's Erie Otters. The Islanders drafted Dal Colle fifth overall in the 2014 Entry Draft.
