Lou Lamoriello said Thursday that Josh Ho-Sang’s representative has asked the team for a trade.
The Islanders placed the 23-year-old right wing, selected 28th overall in 2014, on waivers Monday with the intent of reassigning him to their AHL affiliate in Bridgeport. Ho-Sang cleared waivers on Tuesday, but Lamoriello told him not to report to Bridgeport until the team explores the options.
