Josh Bailey, Ryan Pulock out of Islanders' lineup vs. Panthers

SUNRISE, Fla. — The lineup news wasn’t good for the Islanders as Josh Bailey was placed in COVID-19 protocol prior to Tuesday night’s game against the Panthers at FLA Live Arena and durable defenseman Ryan Pulock was sidelined with a lower-body injury.

Pulock was set to be re-evaluated after the Islanders returned to New York following the game. He had just set the franchise’s ironman record for defenseman by playing in his 263rd consecutive game in Monday night’s 4-1 loss to the Lightning, passing Hall of Famer Denis Potvin.

Pulock’s absence allowed Noah Dobson to draw back in after being a healthy scratch Monday.
