Some things are different now for Jean-Gabriel Pageau, entering his first full season with the Islanders after his acquisition at the trade deadline helped fuel the team’s first run to the Eastern Conference finals since 1993.
But at least one thing is still the same: Pageau does not know who his linemates will be when the Islanders open their regular season against the Rangers on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden.
