Former New York Islanders goalie Thomas Greiss has garnered interest from the Edmonton Oilers in free agency today.
Thomas Greiss has yet to sign a deal today, and as expected it most likely won’t be with the New York Islanders. With both Semyon Varlamov and Ilya Sorokin under contract for 2020-2021 for a combined $7 million against the cap the writing was on the wall.
