Islanders' pursuit of Artemi Panarin, Sergei Bobrovsky may fall short

The Islanders have been aggressive in their pursuit of the top two unrestricted free agents, the soon-to-be-former Blue Jackets Artemi Panarin and goalie Sergei Bobrovsky.
