Sebastian Aho has been getting the Otto Koivula treatment from the New York Islanders lately. The Koivula treatment is the seemingly never-ending trips up and down from Bridgeport to the Island.
The most recent one was sending Aho back to the AHL because the Islanders have an extended break. He represented the Sound Tigers in the All-Star Game.
In 38 games with Bridgeport this year, he has 22 points (2 goals, 20 assists). He's been the best defenseman when down in the AHL and when he's been up with the Isles he's served as the seventh d-man.
