In his first 19 games with the Sound Tigers, Kieffer Bellows had just one goal. Back in 2016, the New York Islanders selected Kieffer Bellows 19th overall because of his goal-scoring abilities and he has significantly regressed in that aspect of his game over the last couple of years.
In 2017-2018, Bellows netted 41 goals in 56 WHL games. He appeared to be on a fast track to the NHL and then fell off a cliff when getting to the AHL.
In 73 games last season, Bellows had just 12 goals. That's not going to cut it from a first-rounder who is known as a goal scorer.
