Good on the Islanders for getting back to what makes them successful last night. The Golden Knights pushed hard in the third but New York did its best to keep them to the outside and its neutral zone play was superb throughout. Vegas did force OT to maintain a point streak, but their four-game win streak was snapped.

Now, they’re off for a three-game road trip through the south. Stars in Dallas first tomorrow night, then a Floridian swing.
