Islanders News: No run support for Sorokin, injury concern for Beauvillier

The New York Islanders delivered another self-shutout for Ilya Sorokin, coming up with zero goals for the rookie in his second NHL game. Overall the performance and fortune was far better for Sorokin than in his debut, so there’s solace in that.

Of concern: No injury update on Anthony Beauvillier, who left the game in the second period and did not return.

Their next crack is Tuesday in Washington, where the Capitals will be missing some card sharks.
