Islanders Killer could be traded to Toronto Maple Leafs (Rumor)

New York Rangers goalie Alexandar Georgiev has played the New York Islanders on five occasions in his short NHL career. In those five games, he's 4-1-0 with an average 0.955 SV% and 1.40GAA. He's been incredible.

But with club legend Henrik Lundqvist under contract for another year and with impressive youngster Igor Shesterkin taking his first steps in the NHL, Georgiev has become surplus to requirements.

And Toronto Maple Leafs GM Kyle Dubas has been calling Rangers GM Jeff Gorton to acquire the Bulgarian netminder.

Goalie, Out

According to Darren Dreger, the Leafs have been talking to the Rangers about a deal for the Rangers third-string goalie.
