Jordan Eberle was supposed to be one of the New York Islanders primary goal scorers this season. With a fresh new five-year extension, the Islanders had faith that Eberle would not be the same player he was in 2018-19.
But through 31 games this season, Jordan Eberle is having an even harder time producing offense. Outside of Mathew Barzal and Brock Nelson, the Islanders have found goals hard to find. They desperately needed Eberle to start hitting the back of the net.
