Islanders: Andrew Ladd Scores First Goal Of 2019-20 In AHL

2018-2019 was a disaster for Andrew Ladd. Due to a litany of injuries, Ladd played just 26 games with Islanders as his $5.5 million cap hit hung over the head of Lou Lamoriello and the New York Islanders.

Ladd's season came to an end in March, when he tore his ACL. Ladd was expected to miss at least six months which would bring him to the start of training camp.

Ladd skated with a noncontact jersey but finally made his return to game action a couple of weeks ago with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
