The Islanders only have two goals in their last three games, and are going to need a better offensive effort tonight against the Rangers. Since the acquisition of Travis Zajac and Kyle Palmieri, it’s been quiet for New York.
As for the Rangers, they’re trending in the right direction. They trail Boston by just four points for the fourth-place spot in the division and are 7-1-2 in their last 10.
