Islanders great Denis Potvin and his broadcast partner, Steve Goldstein, who were announcing Thursday night’s playoff game between the Isles and Florida Panthers at Barclays Center, said on air that they had beer and soda dumped on them.

“Some moron Islander fans just threw some beer or soda down on us,” Goldstein said in the broadcast. “Very classy, but that’s OK.”
“Yeah, it’s unbelievable,” Potvin added.
