Bernard King’s No. 30 belongs nowhere but Knicks’ rafters

It is through no fault of his own, but for as long as Julius Randle wears the number he’s wearing for the Knicks — that would be No. 30 — he is going to look like an imposter in fake clothes. It’s bad for him when he is having an off-night.

But, interestingly, it seems worse when he has a good game.

When he has a good game — and Monday night against Cleveland, he had a very good game, 30 points in 32 minutes as the Knicks blew out the Cavaliers — it can look a little surreal, especially when he is active around the boards, getting up quick turnarounds and bullying his way underneath.
