Obviously someone wants to play, given production of many aging veterans, and comments made after camp about how he should play regularly, it's seems very odd, a young power forward should go over any of these veterans. Could be a paper transaction to get Salo his spot back also. Bottom line this season is going to be what I expected or worse if this continues. Every team should force them to win a high scoring game, and the recent losses, the opposing teams (Tampa/Florida) hardly needed to be good with their backups starting & Devils with their young speed/skating took them to school.
