Anna Kendrick was amused.
The 34-year-old actress responded Friday to a Twitter post by Islanders forward Anthony Beauvillier, in which the 22-year-old took his shot at internet flirting by simply writing, “Hi @AnnaKendrick47.”
“These replies have been my entertainment for the last two days,” Kendrick tweeted. “Thank you all for regaling me with the true tales of this man’s heroism.”
Beauvillier, who sent his tweet on Christmas, had support from many Twitter wingmen who tried to talk him up with tall tales to impress the “Pitch Perfect” actress. One such tweet came from former Islanders defenseman Bruno Gervais.
