Anders Lee scores late power-play goal to beat Penguins, 4-3

Nothing like playing on home ice — even without fans in the stands — and an unexpected bye week to snap a five-game losing streak.

The Islanders remain perfect at home despite still being sloppy with the puck at times and prone to turnovers. But they rallied from a third-period deficit to beat the Penguins, 4-3, on Saturday night at Nassau Coliseum.

Anders Lee scored a power-play goal at 17:16 of the third period when he pushed in a loose puck in the crease after defenseman Ryan Pulock’s shot, provided the winner. It was the game’s only man advantage with Teddy Blueger off for delay of game after flipping the puck over the glass.
