According to Dan Duggan of NJ.com, he would be "surprised" if the New York Giants didn't cut cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie at the end of the season.
Rodgers-Cromartie, who will be 32 years old at the start of next season, would save the team $6.5 million if released.
Now, the Giants are already paying Janoris Jenkins a boatload of cash, and Eli Apple is another player they are heavily invested in as well in the secondary.
So, to save that much cap space by letting DRC go seems almost like a no-brainer at this point.
