There will be no help coming to the Giants offensive line, not now and not after their bye week, as Will Beatty will not be playing this season.
It is also quite possible Beatty had played his last game for the Giants.
Thursday was decision day for Beatty, who has been on short-term injured reserve as he rehabbed from a torn left pectoral muscle suffered while lifting weights during an offseason workout in late May. The Giants had to either put Beatty on the active roster or else keep him on the physically unable to perform list, which would mean he could not play at all in 2015.
