Will Beatty to have season-ending surgery

The Giants won't be getting reinforcements on their offensive line after all. Tackle Will Beatty remains on the physically unable to perform list as he picked up a right rotator cuff injury which will require season-ending surgery.

Beatty had been on the PUP list after tearing his pectoral lifting weights in May.

Tom Coughlin said Beatty has "had an issue with that for quite a while" but was not related to the pectoral injury.

The left tackle had been practicing for three weeks trying to return to the active roster.

Beatty has two years and $13.
