New Giants safety Duke Ihenacho spent the past three seasons with the Redskins. Naturally, some animus built up during the two meetings between the NFC East rivals each season.
So, it came as a surprise to Ihenacho when he joined the Giants in May and discovered that he actually liked his new teammates.
"When you're on the other side, you just see these guys as the enemy," Ihenacho said. "You don't know the guys so you have a little more animosity toward them. I would have never thought that a lot of these guys were pretty cool people - just genuine, down-to-earth people.
