The Giants haven’t been a bruising running team in quite some time, having been without a 1,000-yard rusher since Ahmad Bradshaw in 2012.
But even for this new-look, pass-happy franchise, the past five games have been unusual.
They have rushed for fewer than 80 yards in each of those games — something the Giants haven’t done since official rushing stats started being tracked in 1933.
“I’m never going to be satisfied, no matter what number is up there,” Rashad Jennings said Wednesday.
The numbers recently, though, have been unsightly.
Through the first half of the season, the Giants were last in the league with 68.
